Melinda is our Principal Psychologist here at Muse Psychology. She is enthusiastic, warm, and passionate about growth, wellness, positivity, empowerment, nurturing strengths and building resilience in her clients.
She has spent her entire professional career working with Children and Parents. She spent the first 17 years of her career working as an accredited Music Teacher and Musician; alongside 5 years as a volunteer Music Therapist at Sydney Children's Hospital, Randwick, where she developed a love of helping children and families.
Melinda has a Bachelor of Social Science (Psychology)(Honours), Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts (Music), alongside two Associate Diplomas in Piano (AMusA, AYMF).
She is inspired by people, learning, and creativity. Melinda adopts an engaging, non-judgemental, collaborative approach, and has a keen interest in assisting children and families with learning, developmental, and mental health challenges.
Melinda is a mother of two beautiful children and one very lazy Labrador. In her spare time Melinda loves spending time with her family, enjoying sport, music, travel, and the beach.
