Melinda Gibson
BSocSc (Psychology)(Honours), GradDipPsych, Assoc MAPS, BA (Music), AMusA, AYMF

Principal Psychologist

Melinda is a registered psychologist and holds a Bachelor Social Science (Psychology)(Honours), Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts (Music), alongside Associate Membership with the Australian Psychological Society (Assoc MAPS), and two Associate Diplomas in Piano (AMusA, AYMF).

Melinda has spent all her professional career working with children and parents. She spent the first 17 years as an accredited music teacher and musician, alongside 5 years as a volunteer music therapist at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick. These experiences inspired Melinda to continue her professional journey into psychology, allowing her to further help children, adolescents, and families overcome barriers, embrace personal strengths, and achieve positive change. 

Rachelle Hafey
BSc, PostGradDipPsych

Child and Adolescent Psychologist 

Rachelle is a registered psychologist and a member of Australian Association of Psychologists (AAPI).

Rachelle has worked with children, adolescents and families her entire career spanning over 13 years. She has extensive experience providing psychological intervention in the disability sector. Rachelle is uniquely qualified to provide treatment for a range of child and adolescent disorders including anxiety, depression, oppositional behaviour and general emotional difficulties.

Like all of us at Muse, Rachelle is committed to supporting her clients and their families to live their best lives and achieve their goals.

Peter Bland
BA, GradDipPsych, Assoc MAPS

Registered Psychologist

Peter is a registered Psychologist and an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (Assoc. MAPS).

Peter is our educational and cognitive assessment psychologist. His aim is to discover the strengths and weaknesses of children to provide parents or guardians and teachers with practical and relevant recommendations to help improve education and learning outcomes.

Peter believes using assessment to clarify learning strengths and difficulties can assist in tailoring interventions and recommendations to the child's specific needs.

Reception and Administration Support

Di provides reception and administration support for Muse Psychology. She joined our team after spending the last 25 years working in customer service with Qantas.

 

Di always strives to provide the best possible customer service to our clients, she is always willing to answer any questions you may have in regards to Medicare Rebates, Referrals from GP's or any other general enquiries you may have.

Like everyone at Muse, she loves to help people and build connections with everyone she speaks to.
