Melinda Gibson

Principal Psychologist

Melinda is a registered psychologist and holds a Bachelor Social Science (Psychology)(Honours), Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Bachelor of Arts (Music); alongside two Associate Diplomas in Piano (AMusA, AYMF). Melinda is a member of the Australian Association of Psychologists Inc. (AAPI), and the Australasian ADHD Professionals Association (AADPA).

Melinda has spent all her professional career working with children and parents. She spent the first 17 years as an accredited music teacher and musician, alongside 5 years as a volunteer music therapist at Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick. These experiences inspired Melinda to continue her professional journey into psychology, allowing her to further help children, adolescents, and families overcome barriers, embrace personal strengths, and achieve positive change.
Rachel Aquilina

Clinical Psychologist Registrar​

Rachel Aquilina is a clinical psychologist registrar who holds a Bachelor of Psychology (Honours), and Masters of Psychology (Clinical) and a member of the Australian Psychological Society. She works with children, adolescents, and families across a wide range of emotional, behavioural and developmental concerns. Rachel has comprehensive experience providing individual and group therapy, as well as psychological assessment, across private and community-based settings.
Rachel takes a warm, client-centred, and collaborative approach and is passionate about building strong therapeutic relationships. Her work is informed by evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behaviour Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Creative and Play Therapy.
Rachel has particular experience supporting young people and families, including work within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS), specialised clinics, early intervention settings, and youth drug and alcohol services. She values working collaboratively with clients and their support networks to help them build skills, improve wellbeing, and work towards meaningful and sustainable change.


Peter Bland

Peter is a registered Psychologist and an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society (Assoc. MAPS).
​
Peter is our assessment psychologist. He is passionate about psychometric assessment, and has devoted his career to psychological testing. Peter is highly experienced in administering cognitive, educational, behavioural, and adaptive assessments.
Peter aims to identify cognitive and developmental strengths and weaknesses; and provide parents/carers, teachers, and/or tutors with practical, tailored, and relevant recommendations to help optimise education and learning outcomes.

Di provides reception and administration support for Muse Psychology. She joined our team after spending the last 25 years working in customer service with Qantas.
Di always strives to provide the best possible customer service to our clients, and is always willing to answer any questions you may have in regards to Medicare Rebates, Referrals from GP's, NDIS, assessment, or any other general enquiries you may have.
